Remedy for longing

وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اِذَامَرَرْتُمْ بِرِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ فَارْتَعُوْاقَالُوْ ايَارَسُوْلَ اللَّهِ ,وَمَارِيَاضُ الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ مَجَالِسُ الْعِلْمِ.

 

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: When you pass through the gardens of paradise, then stop by. Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah, what are the gardens of paradise? The Prophet replied: the gardens of paradise are study places.

 

The longing that had accumulated after the long holiday was finally relieved by activities at the beginning of learning. Longing to sit in study places, establish salah, recite the holy qur'an, and establish brotherhood in Islam. The first learning activity was begun by a flag ceremony, the activity aims to commemorate the struggle of predecessors to gain Indonesian independence. After finishing a flag ceremony, the students recited holy qur’an, Maa Syaa Allah. Ibnu Mas’ud reported that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said; "Whoever reads one letter from the holy qur'an, then he will get one good while that good (worth) ten times, I do not say 'Alif Laam Miim' as one letter, but 'Alif as one letter,' Laam' as one letter and 'miim' as one letter." (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi 2910 and authenticated by al-Albani). how extraordinary the holy Qur'an, even Rasulullah SAW said: "Whoever listens to a verse from the holy Qur'an, then he will be recorded for double goodness. And whoever reads it, he will get nur (light of intercession) on the Day of Resurrection." Maa syaa allah. Some school members then carry out learning as usual, while others continue their mandate.

How amazing, during the first break, all members of the Muhammadiyah 2 Turi Vocational High School held Duha prayers together. Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu reported that Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said; "Every human joint is required to give sadaqah every day starting from sunrise. Separating (resolving cases) between two people (who are in dispute) is sadaqah. Helping someone get on their vehicle or lifting their belongings onto their vehicle is sadaqah. Saying good things is also included sadaqah, every step you walk to perform prayer is sadaqah. And removing an obstacle from the path is a sadaqah"(Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim]. Abu Dzar also reported that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "In the morning it is obligatory for all joints among you to give alms. So every tasbih reading is a sadaqah, every tahmid reading is a sadaqah, every tahlil reading is a sadaqah, and every takbir reading is a sadaqah. Likewise, amar ma'ruf (ordering obedience) and nahi munkar (forbidding evil) is a sadaqah. This can all be fulfilled (replaced) by performing Duha prayers as much as 2 cycles" (Narrated Muslim no. 1704). Maa syaa allah, We wish that the Muhammadiyah 2 Turi Vocational School’s family will get closer to Allah SWT.
